One of the most common questions we get at Butterly is simple: what's the actual difference between our Classic and Gold Pure butter cookies? Here's the honest answer, ingredient by ingredient.
Classic Butter Cookies
Our Classic range (Sapphire Mandala, Mosaic Heritage, and Koi & Blossom collections) is made with a blend of butter and vegetable oil, along with wheat flour, sugar, full cream milk powder, and raisins. This gives a rich, satisfying golden cookie at a more accessible price point, without compromising on taste.
Gold Pure Butter Cookies
Our Gold Pure range (Jewel Box, Royal Bouquet, Gold Oriental, and Floral Collection) skips vegetable oil entirely. Instead, it's made with 30% real butter, along with wheat flour, sugar, and milk powder. The result is a noticeably richer, more delicate cookie with that classic melt-in-the-mouth quality that pure butter is known for.
Which Should You Choose?
If you're gifting on a budget or buying in bulk for a large event, our Classic range delivers excellent taste at a friendlier price. If you're looking to make a statement, whether for a special client, a wedding, or a loved one, Gold Pure is worth the difference. Both lines contain wheat and milk, and are made on equipment that also processes soy, egg, and nuts.
Same Beautiful Tins, Different Recipes
Both lines are packaged in the same standard of beautifully designed, collectible tins, so you're never compromising on presentation, only choosing the richness of the recipe inside. Browse our full range to see both lines side by side.
